WHO WE ARE

A magazine made for
thinking aloud.

Founded in 2024, HER’s is a global, student-led feminist magazine where young people express their perspectives through honest, unfiltered dialogue. Written and designed by students from more than 35 schools across 13 countries and all six inhabited continents, it amplifies diverse voices and encourages thoughtful, bold, and even controversial discussions about the social, cultural, and political issues that shape our lives. All articles are published anonymously so readers meet the idea before the identity behind it.

HER’s gives young people space to think critically, write authentically, and take part in meaningful conversations. Through the magazine, we build a global community that raises awareness, challenges inherited assumptions, and empowers students to create conversations that reach beyond the page.

THE IDEA

What is feminism?

Not a label that divides us, but a language for noticing what the world has taught us not to see.

Feminism imagines a world where gender never becomes an excuse for limitation. It asks for equal rights, opportunities, and freedoms while recognizing that equality does not require everyone to be the same. It is not a battle between women and men, but a movement that creates room for every person to grow, lead, and thrive.

THE MOVEMENT

A history of feminism

Feminism has never been one moment, one country, or one kind of woman.

Across four major waves and countless movements beyond the West, generations fought to move women from being treated as property toward legal, political, and social equality. Their struggles reshaped laws, institutions, and ideas about who could learn, work, lead, and live freely. The language changed across places and centuries, but the demand for dignity remained universal.
